WATERLOO, Iowa - The Mankato MoonDogs tallied double-digit runs for the fourth straight game to pick up their fourth win in a row when they beat the Waterloo Bucks, 11-6, in their final matchup of the season, Sunday afternoon at Riverfront Stadium.

The win brings the MoonDogs to 32-24 on the season with a 13-9 record in the second half. The loss dropped the Waterloo Bucks to 14-42 with a second-half record of 5-17

Kai Roberts (Utah) had a stellar day at the plate once again, he went three-for-five and was a triple shy of hitting for the cycle. Angelo Peraza (San Diego) had a big day as well going two-for-four with three RBI.

The MoonDogs got it started early in the matinee tilt with a three-run first inning. Sean Ross (Indiana State) singled and later scored off a wild pitch. After, Brendan Hord (Evansville) singled and Ariel Armas (San Diego) walked to get on base, Peraza came up and knocked them both in with a single to left.

Mankato tacked on three more runs in the top of the second, each came with two outs. Roberts homered to get the rally going. Waterloo then walked the next four batters, the MoonDogs eventually tallied a pair of runs off a bases-loaded walk and wild pitch. With the Bucks also scoring one run in each of the first two frames, the MoonDogs carried a 6-2 lead after two innings of play.

The MoonDogs piled on two more runs in the fourth, the eventual game-winning runs, that solidified their victory. After Charles McAdoo (San Jose State) drew a bases-loaded walk to set the edge in the contest, he scored on an RBI single to right by Peraza. After four innings, Mankato led Waterloo 8-2 at Riverfront Stadium.

The game eventually concluded as an 11-6 final with the MoonDogs coming out on top after plating double-digit runs for a fourth straight game.

TJ Martin (St. Scholastica), now 1-1 after earning the win, pitched five innings with four runs (three earned) and eight hits against. He walked one and struck out two en route to the win. Brevin Goetz (Gustavus), Dalton Mesaris (Western Kentucky), Michael Gurka (Minnesota) and Sky Wells (Cal State - Long Beach) appeared on the hill in relief.

Up next, the MoonDogs play host to the St.Cloud Rox at ISG Field, Monday at 6:35 p.m. for one home game prior to the Major League Dreams Showcase. This will mark the first time the MoonDogs have seen the Rox since June 25th.
