
Montreal Approves Stadium Expansion Project

Official release - The Montreal Alouettes are pleased with the decision of the City of Montreal's Executive Committee to approve the financing of the Percival Molson Stadium expansion project.
"We are extremely pleased with the support we've received from the City of Montreal for the financing of this vital project," said Montreal Alouettes President and CEO Mr. Larry Smith. "This approval further solidifies the partnership between the City and the Alouettes."
This crucial step of the project now allows the Alouettes to proceed to approval requests with the federal and provincial governments in order to finalize the process.
Montreal Alouettes' President and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Larry Smith will be available to answer questions today at 3:30 p.m. at the Alouettes' downtown office located at 1260 University, 1st floor.
