Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
(Allentown, Pa.) - Monday's game between the Lehigh Valley IronPigs and the Toledo Mud Hens has been postponed due to unsafe field conditions and impending weather. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Tuesday, August 21, beginning at 5:35 p.m. Please note that all gates open at 4:30 p.m. for Tuesday's contest. Each of the doubleheader games are scheduled for seven innings and only one ticket is needed to attend both games.
Due to the postponement, fans holding tickets to Monday's game can exchange each ticket for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any remaining 2012 regular season game or 2013 April regular season game at Coca-Cola Park. All ticket exchanges must be made in-person at the Coca-Cola Park Ticket Office (no phone or internet exchanges). Ticket exchanges are subject to availability. Fans with additional questions are asked to call (610) 841-PIGS (7447).
The IronPigs and Mud Hens wrap up their series with Tuesday's 5:35 p.m. doubleheader featuring the inaugural visit from SpongeBob and his sidekick Patrick to Coca-Cola Park. The popular duo will be greeting kids as they enter the park and will be available for photos in the mascot booth throughout the game.
Tuesday also marks the final Dog Day at the Park of the 2012 season as fans can purchase tickets for their four-legged companions for just $1 with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Last Chance Ranch who is the sponsor of Tuesday's "Adopt-a-Pet" Night. While no pets can be adopted on site, if you are interested in adopting you will be able to arrange the appropriate paperwork with Last Chance Ranch to begin the adoption process.
Fans that are planning on bringing their canine must purchase a General Admission ticket and will only have access to the Capital BlueCross Lawn seating area. We ask that those with four paws also adhere to the following guidelines:
- All potty breaks must be cleaned up by your owner.
- Please mind your manners. Out of control dogs may be asked to leave Coca-Cola Park.
- Cheering for the IronPigs is allowed, but barking should be kept at a minimum.
- You must be kept on a leash by your owner.
Also, during every Tuesday home game fans can play TD Bank Ballpark Bingo for a chance to win a $25 Visa Check Card and a team autographed baseball.
Single-game tickets, mini plans and group tickets for all IronPigs home games presented by Capital BlueCross, are on sale now and can be purchased at the Coca-Cola Park Ticket Office, online at www.ironpigsbaseball.com or by calling (610) 841-PIGS.
