
Monarchs Trade Stefan Legein to Tulsa Oilers

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Manchester Monarchs Head Coach, Rich Seeley, announced today that forward, Stefan Legein, was traded to the Tulsa Oilers for future considerations.
Legein, 27, played in 38 games for the Monarchs this season, recording 21 points on eight goals and 13 assists. The 5-foot-10, 170-pound forward signed with the Monarchs before the season after playing parts of two seasons in Germany for VIK Vasteras HK and Heilbronner Falken.
The Oakville, ON native was drafted by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the second round (#37 overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. Legein played in 265 AHL games in his career, scoring 100 points on 54 goals and 46 assists, playing for Syracuse, Adirondack, Manchester and Toronto.
The Monarchs are back in action Wednesday, February 24 (7 p.m.) when they host the Adirondack Thunder at the Jungle in an East Division showdown.
