
Monarchs Release Dora From Contract

MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have released left wing Lukas Dora from his standard American Hockey League contract, Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced on Thursday.
Dora, 24, appeared in three games with the Reading Royals, the Monarchs ECHL affiliate, this season. In three games, the 5-foot-9, 175-pound native of Lednice, Czech Republic scored zero points and accumulated two penalty minutes. Dora, a rookie out of Denver University, did not appear in a regular season games with the Monarchs this season.
Dora participated in the Monarchs 2004 training camp and was loaned to the Royals on October 4.
The undefeated Monarchs (7-0-0-0) return to action when they travel to Worcester to meet the Worcester IceCats (6-2-0-0) on Friday, November 5 at 7:05 p.m. Friday’s game will be the third of three straight on the road for the Monarchs, who return to the Verizon Wireless Arena to meet the Albany River Rats on Saturday, November 6 at 7:35 p.m. Catch all of the play-by-play action with Ken Cail on the Monarchs Radio Network (WGIR-AM 610, Manchester; WGIN-AM 930, Rochester; WGIP-AM 1540, Exeter; WTSL-AM 1400, Lebanon) and at www.monarchshockey.com.
Ticket Availability: Single seats in the Gold level and 1,250 seats in the Silver level remain for the Monarchs game against the River Rats on November 6. The first 5,000 fans attending the game will receive a Monarchs T-shirt courtesy of Crowley Foods.
