WHERE WE STAND

The Monarchs (64 pts.) enter Pink in the Rink atop the North Division, five points clear of the Reading Royals and seven points ahead of the Thunder. The Monarchs, despite going 4-1-3-2 in their last 10 games, are within four points of the Florida Everblades for the top spot in the Eastern Conference and entire league.

RECORDS ARE MEANT TO BE BROKEN

Manchester currently holds a 14-game point streak at home, dating back to Dec. 3 when they defeated the Kalamazoo Wings, 4-2. The 14-game streak is the longest in the league this season and is tied for a franchise-record, held with the 2004-05 and 2006-07 teams.

NOT BLOWING US OUT!

The Monarchs have been in basically every game this season, having lost only two games by three or more goals, the fewest in the league. Manchester is the only team in the league that has yet to lose a game by four or more goals, going 5-0-0-0 in games decided by four or more goals.

SCORE FIRST

Adirondack has scored first in 23 of their 45 games this season, and are 18-1-2-2 when lighting the lamp first (.870). Manchester has a .760 winning percentage when scoring first (17-4-2-2), but their 11 wins when allowing the first goal are tied for the second-most in the league.

POWER PLAY POWER HOUSES

Manchester and Adirondack both rank in the top five in power-play percentage. Manchester enters the weekend with the league's second best power play at 23.4%, while Adirondack ranks fifth in the league, converting on 23.1% of their chances, including a staggering 29.3% conversion rate (12-for-41) against the Monarchs.

THE NEXT EPISODE

The last series between these two teams featured a three-game Monarchs sweep of the Thunder, improving Manchester's season record to 5-4-0-1 against their division rival. In the sweep, the Monarchs averaged six goals per game and took two victories on the road at the Glens Falls Civic Center.
