TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: The Thunder visit the Manchester Monarchs as they open up a home-and-home set with the North Division leaders, concluding tomorrow afternoon at the Glens Falls Civic Center. Tonight is the 11th meeting of the season between the two teams. Adirondack enters the game holding a narrow 12-11 points advantage with each team winning five times.

MR. SIX IT: With a victory over the South Carolina Stingrays on Tuesday, Adirondack has now won six straight games for the first time this season and the third time in franchise history. The Thunder, who have also won eight of their last nine games played, are now one win shy of tying their franchise record, set last season when they opened 2015 with seven straight victories.

ONE STEP FORWARD: Rookie defenseman Stepan Falkovsky scored the game-winning goal late in the third period on Tuesday to extend his scoring streak to six games. The 6-7 blueline's tally came on the man advantage yet again, extending his league leading total among defensemen to nine goals. Falkovsky is also tied for the ECHL lead in overall goals by a defenseman with 12, knotted with former Adirondack blueliner Joe Faust.

BROCK N' ROLL: Adirondack forward Brock Montgomery got off to a flying start to his Thunder career with two goals in Tuesday's victory. Montgomery found the back of the net twice in a three minute span in the second period, his fourth and fifth goals overall on the season. Montgomery has now collected eight points (4-4-8) in 13 games this season, split between Orlando and Adirondack.

MASE ON THE CASE: Thunder netminder Mason McDonald made his return to the Adirondack lineup on Tuesday as he turned aside 20 of 22 shots in the win. McDonald's start was his first since December 31 and his first victory since December 22. In his rookie campaign, the 6-4 goaltender has now collected a 10-6-3 record, a 2.72 goals against average and a .897 save percentage.

CHICKEN AND THE GREG: Thunder forward Greg Wolfe extended his scoring streak to six games with the primary helper on Falkovsky's game-winning goal. Wolfe has now collected 12 points (5-7-12) over his last nine games played. The Lansing, MI native now ranks tied for fourth on the team in scoring with 30 points (12-18-30) from 42 games played, one of five Adirondack players to reach the 30-point plateau.
