MANCHESTER, NH - Right wing Adam Burish scored his first goal of the season at 2:55 of overtime to lift the Norfolk Admirals over the Manchester Monarchs 2-1 in front of 6,070 fans at the Verizon Wireless Arena on Sunday evening.

Manchester (5-5-2-1) dropped to fifth place in the Atlantic Division with 13 points. Norfolk (10-2-1-1) moves into first place in the East Division and a tie for first overall in the league with 22 points.

Right wing Brandon Bochenski scored his 11th tally of the season at 5:32 of the second period. Right wing Troy Brouwer fed the puck up the ice to Bochenski on the breakaway. Skating at Monarchs goaltender Barry Brust with nothing between them but ice, Bochenski fired a shot five-hole for the first goal of the game. Center Martin St. Pierre also assisted on the goal to give the Admirals a 1-0 lead.

Midway through the second period, right wing Carl Corazzini was awarded a penalty shot and was denied by Brust.

With 18-seconds remaining in the game and Brust pulled from the net for the extra attacker, defenseman T.J. Kemp collected a pass from defenseman Peter Harrold and fired a shot on net. With Admirals goaltender Corey Crawford screened by Norfolk and Manchester players, Kemp's shot found its way to the top right corner of the net. Right wing John Zeiler also earned an assist to tie the game 1-1 and force overtime. The rookie defenseman has 10 points in 10 games.

At 2:55 of the overtime, Burish picked up the puck from center Jonas Nordqvist and flipped the puck in on Brust, low blocker side, to give the Admirals the win.

Brust took the overtime loss with 27 saves. Crawford earned the win stopping 25 shots.

Manchester went 0-for-8 on the power play. Norfolk was 0-for-5 with the man advantage.
