March 10, 2010 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Manchester Monarchs News Release

MANCHESTER, NH - The Monarchs Care Foundation and the Manchester Monarchs paid tribute to the men and women in the military, fire and police by wearing specialty jerseys on each of the American Pride Nights over the last three seasons. The Monarchs wore military inspired specialty camouflage jerseys on November 17, 2007, fire inspired jerseys on March 7 2009 and police inspired jerseys on February 20, 2010.

Through jersey auctions following each game, $33,290 was raised for the Monarchs Care Foundation, the New Hampshire Gold Star Mother's Memorial, the 100 Club and the New Hampshire Explorers Program.

"Each and every day, men and women risk their lives to keep the citizens of New Hampshire safe," said Monarchs Senior Vice President Cheryl Abbott. "We are honored to have been able to raise these funds for such worthy causes over the last three seasons."

The Monarchs host the Binghamton Senators at the Verizon Wireless Arena on Wednesday, March 10 at 7:00 p.m. Catch all of the play-by-play action of Monarchs hockey with Ken Cail on the Monarchs Radio Network WGAM 900/1250 AM and at www.manchestermonarchs.com.
