Oilers Recall Chris Minard From Falcons

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that forward Chris Minard has been recalled by their National Hockey League affiliate, the Edmonton Oilers. The Falcons also announced that Bryan Young has been recalled from the Falcons' ECHL affiliate, the Stockton Thunder.

Minard has played in 31 games for the Falcons this year collecting 15 goals and 10 assists for 25 points and 12 penalty minutes. Minard is tied for third on the team in goals and he is also second on the Falcons in power play goals with eight.

Young has split this season between Springfield and Stockton. In 38 games with the Thunder, he has collected two goals and six assists for eight points and 43 penalty minutes. In five games with the Falcons this year, he has totaled nine penalty minutes.
