WICHITA, KS- Wichita Wingnuts' right fielder Dustan Mohr has been named the American Association Batter of the Week for June 22nd-28th.

Mohr hit safely in all seven games, posting a .406 batting average (13-32) with 10 RBIs. On Saturday, Mohr hit a three-run double to break open what was eventually a 7-0 victory that closed the Wingnuts within one game of the division title.

The award marks the third time this season that a Wingnuts' player has captured Player of the Week Honors. Greg Porter has been named Batter of the Week twice already this year.

The Wingnuts, 2009 North Division Champions, return to action Tuesday night when they host the Sioux City Explorers at 7:05 p.m. The North Division Series, which will pit the Wingnuts against the North Division's second half winner, is scheduled to begin Tuesday, September 1st at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.
