MNUFC Midfielder Alejandro Bran Called up for International Duty

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Minnesota United announced today that midfielder Alejandro Bran has earned a call-up with the Costa Rica National Team for its friendly against El Salvador on Friday, February 2. The match is set to kick at 8:00 p.m. CT at Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica in San Jose, Costa Rica.

Bran, who MNUFC recently acquired via a one-year loan, has now earned his fourth call-up with the Costa Rica senior national squad. To-date, Bran has been capped five times in a Ticos kit - notably playing significant time in both legs of the Quarterfinals of the Concacaf Nations League Finals in November 2023. He additionally made appearances in international friendlies against Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in September of 2023, along with a substitute appearance against El Salvador in 2021.
