MLS Decision Day 2022 Broadcast Details Announced

NEW YORK - With just one week of action remaining, Major League Soccer today confirmed broadcast details for the final day of regular season games, MLS Decision Day 2022, on Sunday, October 9.
Every MLS club will be in action over a five-hour span on Decision Day. Seven Eastern Conference matches will kick off simultaneously at 2:30 p.m. ET, followed by seven Western Conference at 5 p.m. ET, with nearly all games carrying Audi 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs qualification or postseason seeding implications.
In addition to the matches highlighted by national broadcast partners, all other games will be available regionally on local broadcast partners and nationally in the U.S. on ESPN+.
Fourteen teams total, seven from the Eastern Conference and seven from the Western Conference, will qualify for the Audi 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs, and it will all come down to Decision Day.
DECISION DAY DRAMA SET FOR EASTERN CONFERENCE FOES: Orlando City SC vs. Columbus Crew, 2:30 p.m. ET (FS1, FOX Deportes)
At 2:30 p.m. ET, FS1 and FOX Deportes will showcase the showdown between the Columbus Crew (45 points, 10-7-15) and Orlando City SC (45 points, 13-13-6), live from Exploria Stadium in Orlando. The two clubs are currently hovering around the playoff line at 45 points in a three-way tie with Inter Miami CF. All three clubs will play two matches in the final week. With five teams vying for just three remaining spots in the East, it will all come down to Decision Day.
WIN AND YOU'RE IN: Real Salt Lake vs. Portland Timbers, 5 p.m. ET (ESPN2, ESPN3)
For the Western Conference window at 5 p.m. ET, ESPN2 will highlight the crucial matchup of Real Salt Lake (44 points, 11-11-11) hosting the Portland Timbers (46 points, 11-9-13) at America First Field, with both teams fighting for one of only two remaining Western Conference playoff spots. The match will also be broadcast in Spanish on ESPN3.
TSN TO SHOWCASE ALL THREE CANADIAN CLUBS
TSN will carry all three Canadian clubs in action on Decision Day 2022: Philadelphia Union vs. Toronto FC (2:30 p.m. ET, TSN1) and Inter Miami CF vs. CF Montréal (2:30 p.m. ET, TSN4) in the Eastern Conference, followed by Minnesota United FC vs. Vancouver Whitecaps FC (5:00 p.m. ET, TSN1/4) in the Western Conference.
MONTRÉAL GO FOR TOP SPOT IN THE EAST ON TVA SPORTS
TVA Sports will carry the final regular season match for CF Montréal as they face Inter Miami CF and battle for the top spot in the East.
