MLB All-Star game giveaway headlines huge promotional week

(Nashua, NH, June 27, 2006) - Historic Holman Stadium will be the place to be this week with special promotions planned for each game. Tonight, June 27, the team will give two tickets away to one luck fan for the MLB All-Star game in Pittsburgh, PA scheduled for Tuesday, July 11th. The giveaway includes flight, accommodation, and admission to the Home Run Derby, Celebrity Softball Game, Futures Game and Fan Fest.

On Wednesday, June 28, the game will be a tribute to the Trevor Palmer Fund. Trevor is young boy from Milford, NH suffering from Aplastic Anemia, a life-threatening bone marrow condition. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket purchased for the game will go to support the fund

The Pride's 2006 baseball card giveaway is planned for Thursday, June 28th. The first 250 fans will receive a complimentary baseball card pack.

Birdzerk! will perform at the Friday, June 30th game. BirdZerk! is an entertainment whirlybird with more tricks up his feathers than Houdini. Spontaneous, outrageous, cool and capricious, he plays to the crowd with comedic routines honed through hundreds of appearances at ballparks and arenas around the world.

The Saturday, July 1st game has a state-of-the-art post-game fireworks show sponsored by Budweiser. And, Sunday, Family Fun Day will be Military Appreciation Day with a family of four getting in for the only $16.

The Nashua Pride, entering their first year in the eight-team Canadian American Association of Professional Baseball, play their home games at Historic Holman Stadium. Prior to joining the Can-Am League, the Pride played for eight seasons in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, winning the 2000 Atlantic League championship.
