Adam Buschini would follow with a base hit of his own to drive in Alberts and put the Sox up 2-0 after a half inning.

In the third, Jason White would lead off with a homerun to left field to make it 3-0 Sox. Matt Way would settle down after that and not allow another run until Adam Buschini lead off the top of the ninth with a homerun of his own to make it 4-0 Sox.
