
Mitch Stallings Named Pitcher of the Week

DANVILLE, Va. - Left handed pitcher Mitch Stallings was named Appalachian League Player of the Week on Monday, for his stellar performance at the Bluefield Blue Jays on June 26.
Stallings earned his first pro win as a starter in his six scoreless outing, where he struck out 11 Blue Jays batters, and only allowed two hits in the Braves 4-2 victory last week. The second-year product out of Duke has yet to allow an earned run in 11.2 innings of work, striking out a total of 16 batters.
The 2018 30th round pick is in his second year of action, where he has owned a career 2.95 ERA in about 40 innings of work.
