
Mississippi's First Lady to Throw Out the First Pitch on Independence Day

Mississippi Braves News Release
The Mississippi Braves are proud to announce that Mississippi's First Lady, Marsha Barbour, will be at Trustmark Park on Wednesday, July 4th to throw out the first ceremonial first pitch. The First Lady, the spokeswoman for the Let's Go Walkin' Mississippi campaign, will kick off the Independence Day Celebration at Trustmark Park.
First pitch for the M-Braves game vs. the Chattanooga Lookouts is set for 7:05 pm and the first 3,000 fans through the gates will receive a free pedometer compliments of Let's Go Walkin' Mississippi. An Independence Day fireworks extravaganza will follow the game.
