Mississippi Blues Start Training Camp
November 7, 2008 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Mississippi Blues News Release
Jackson, MS. The ABA Mississippi Blues professional basketball team will enter into training camp on Monday, November 10th at the MBA and are excited about the upcoming season. Owner Daniel Price will be going into training camp with 15 plyers that he feels will win a title. He looks to veteran point guard Jarell Jones to lead the Blues as the floor general.
"Jarell is a game changing point guard with his quickness, three point shooting and floor vision," stated Price. "He is capable of finding shooters along the perimeter and knocking down the three pointer consistently. I look for Jarell to be an extension of me as a coach."
The season begins December 6th in Houston TX vs the Houston Takers, a veteran ABA team. Season tickets are on sale now. For more information, contact Daniel Price at 601 951 5045 or email dprice@msblueshoops.com or visit www.msblueshoops.com or www.abalive.com.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
