Salt Lake City Saints Final Free Tryout November 8, 2008
November 7, 2008 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Salt Lake City Saints News Release
Kenny Wamsley, owner of the Salt Lake City Saints of the American Basketball Association, announced the teams' final free agent tryout. The tryout will be held at Franklin Covey Gym 2200 Parkway Blvd, Saturday November 8, 2008 at 1:30pm. For those that pre-register via email, there will be no charge. This will be the final tryout for anyone interested in playing for the Saints this season.
"The Saints first two tryouts were a success. We found several players that have earned a spot at out Veterans Camp later in November. We plan to find the best of the quality players to take to camp and decide which players we will take into the 2008 season" Wamsley said.
This tryout is in response to the large number of players that either couldn't make it to the previous tryouts, or those that preferred a free tryout. "This will allow us to see any and all talent in the Wasatch that feel that they can play professional basketball and simply need the opportunity to be seen and measured for it to happen. This Saturday will be that chance" Wamsley added.
Each player will be asked to sign a waiver and should pre-register via email, and the free registration ends Friday Night at 10pm. At the door, walk ins will be charged $25. We will not accept ANY phone registrations.
Any player that is invited to Veterans Camp will be refunded his fee. All email registrations should include Players name, height, position, college, professional experience and agent contact if available.
