Mississauga, ON - With the opening game of the 2014-2015 OHL regular season right around the corner, the Mississauga Steelheads are getting set to kick off training camp in preparation for another exciting season at the Hershey Centre. This year, Steelheads General Manager/Head Coach, James Boyd and the rest of the Steelheads coaching staff will see a number of returning players along with an impressive draft class of rookies as the team looks to build off of last year's OHL playoff appearance.

Camp kicks off on Wednesday, August 27th with medical testing and off-site fitness testing. On Thursday, August 28th and Friday, August 29th the Steelheads will go head to head in the annual Blue and White scrimmages. Once again, the scrimmages will be open to the public with free admission and fans will have the opportunity to pick up some Steelheads' swag in the Bait Shop prior to, and following each game. Both scrimmages will be from 1:30-3:30 pm on community rink #2 at the Hershey Centre.

The Blue and White scrimmages are a great opportunity for fans to get a first glimpse of the 2014-2015 Steelheads, including first round draft pick and Mississauga native, Michael McLeod.

Blue and White rosters will be available on location prior to the games. Don't forget to catch the Steelheads in their first home exhibition game at the Milton Sports Centre on September 5th at 7:00 pm as they host last season's OHL Champions, the Guelph Storm. Tickets will be available for $5.00 on location prior to the game.
