FORT MYERS, FL - Apparently Fun is Good. That message has resonated all season at Hammond Stadium and fans have responded by showing up in the thousands to enjoy Miracle Baseball. The Miracle saw their 100,000th fan of 2005 walk through the gates on Saturday marking the seventh time in team history they have accomplished the feat.

The Miracle are constantly at the top of the Florida State League in attendance and 2005 is no different. The Miracle are third this season in overall and average attendance, just behind the Daytona Cubs and Clearwater Threshers. The Miracle have averaged over 1,700 patrons.

"Our goal each year is to increase awareness of Miracle Baseball in Southwest Florida," said General Manager Steve Gliner. "In our 14th season I believe we have done that and the fans have responded by showing up and enjoying a great evening at the ballpark."

The Miracle have reached the 100,000 fan plateau in six of their last eight years and last did it in 2003 when they had their second highest total while in Southwest Florida. The Miracle were on their way to reaching the six figure mark last year when the hurricanes cancelled the end of the season. Their franchise high while in Southwest Florida is 116,041 in 2000.

The Miracle have five home dates remaining, including a fireworks night on September 3, Fan Appreciation Night presented by Sun Harvest Citrus, WWGR and WJGO. Fans can purchase tickets for all remaining games by calling the Miracle office at 239-768-4210 or going on line at www.miraclebaseball.com.
