Fort Myers Mighty Mussels News Release
FORT MYERS, FL (August 5, 2011) - Whether you're a beer aficionado or just a baseball fan looking to quench your thirst, the 1st ever Miracle Baseball Craft Beer Festival is the place for you! The fun-times flow, courtesy of Killebrew Root Beer, from 5pm-7pm on Saturday, August 13th at Hammond Stadium.
The Miracle host the Palm Beach Cardinals at 6:05pm and fireworks follow the festive evening.
The tasting event gives connoisseurs the opportunity to "Be Your Own Fan" with a wide variety of beers from some of the best craft brewers in the country, including Killebrew Root Beer. The event's title sponsor will be sampling root beer, along with other craft beers from their brewery in Minnesota.
Tickets for two hours of unlimited sampling and a general admission ticket to that night's Miracle game are only $20.
"This event is a great in-season compliment to the popular winter time Ballpark Festival of Beers. We are excited to include this around a game and to add our makeup fireworks show from July 1, makes it even more of an event," said Miracle General Manager Steve Gliner.
