
Minnesota Wild Reassigns D Christian Folin to Iowa

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher tonight announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned defenseman Christian Folin (pronounced FOE-lin) to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Folin, 24 (2/9/91), has collected 10 points (2-810), a plus-4 rating and averaged 15:08 in time on ice in 39 games with Minnesota this season and recorded four points (2-24) in 12 games with Iowa. The 6-foot-3, 214-pound native of Gothenburg, Sweden, owns 11 points (2-911), a plus-7 rating and 11 penalty minutes (PIM) in 40 career NHL contests with the Wild.
Iowa plays at the Chicago Wolves Sunday at 3 p.m.
