
Sound Tigers Sign Markison to ATO

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced today that Colin Markison has been signed to an Amateur Try Out.
Markison, 22, completed his college career with the University of Vermont last Friday after appearing in 40 games for the Catamounts, recording nine goals and 16 assists for 25 points. In 127 games with Vermont, Markison posted 23 goals and 29 assists along with 46 penalty minutes.
The Princeton, N.J., native was named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team for the 2011-12 season. Prior to playing at Vermont, the 5'10, 185-pound Markison played two years with the Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League.
