Minnesota United FC News Release

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - This past Saturday, despite having more shots, corners and crosses than the visiting side, MNUFC fell to FC Cincinnati for the first time in club history. Dayne St. Clair and the defensive line were able to hold FCC out of the net for the entirety of regular time, but three minutes into extra time, Brandon Vázquez was able to sneak one in to secure three points for Cincinnati. The Loons have a busy schedule ahead of them and will be back out at Allianz Field on Wednesday night to face the Colorado Rapids for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Round of 32. While both teams have struggled to gain momentum as of late, MNUFC has shown that they know how to navigate the Rapids. Wednesday night's matchup will be an opportunity for the Loons to find their footing.
