MLS NEXT Pro Disciplinary Decision Announced

NEW YORK - Real Monarchs midfielder Christian Nydegger was issued a yellow card in the 45th minute of the Monarchs' MLS NEXT Pro match against Sporting KC II on May 8. After reviewing the incident, MLS NEXT Pro has issued supplemental discipline in the form of a one-game suspension and an undisclosed fine. Nydegger will miss Real Monarchs' ensuing MLS NEXT Pro match (vs. Tacoma Defiance - May 15, 2022).
