Minnesota United FC News Release
GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Minnesota United today announced nVent, a global electrical company headquartered in St. Louis Park, Minn., as an Official Partner of MNUFC. For more than a century, nVent's extensive portfolio of electrical solutions has connected and protected critical electrical systems around the globe.
"We are thrilled to kick-off our partnership with MNUFC and to support the vibrant and growing soccer community in the Twin Cities," said Chief Marketing Officer Martha Bennett. "Aligning our brand with this innovative franchise and the global game of soccer will bring exciting opportunities for our employees, customers and all our stakeholders. Our shared values of sustainability and inclusion will further strengthen our partnership, and I look forward to seeing its evolution over the next several years."
Beginning with the 2024 season, nVent becomes the newest Roof Deck partner at Allianz Field in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Located above the Grand Casino Brew Hall on the west side of the Roof Deck, nVent's roof deck space will be a premium opportunity for fans to enjoy home matches in a unique way, holding a special view of Minnesota United's pitch. Additionally, nVent will be the presenting partner of MNUFC's home game against the Portland Timbers on Saturday, May 18.
"Partnering with a Minnesota company that has a worldwide footprint in such an important industry was a top priority for our team," said Minnesota United EVP, Chief Revenue Officer, Bryant Pfeiffer. "Soccer is the world's game, and this partnership with an international company such as nVent pairs perfectly. Including nVent's vast array of products at Allianz Field was another key component that our team and nVent saw as a great opportunity to partner and find success together, through this multi-year deal."
Along with the Roof Deck, nVent will have a noticeable presence with MNUFC throughout the season, including serving as the presenting partner of two Minnesota United Community Clean-Up events. Dates for the MNUFC Community Clean-Ups will be announced at a future date. As Minnesota's players earn the opportunity to play with their national teams on international duty this year, nVent also will be the presenting partner of MNUFC's International Call-Ups.
