
Minnesota United Acquires Midfielder Alejandro Bran on Loan

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Minnesota United announced today that the club has acquired central midfielder Alejandro Bran via a one-year loan, with an option to buy, from CS Herediano of the Costa Rican Primera Division.
Bran arrives in Minnesota having played in 18 matches across both Primera Division and Concacaf Central American Cup competitions during the 2023/24 campaign with Herediano. In his over 1,300 minutes played to-date this season for Herediano, Bran has scored three goals and provided two assists.
Internationally, Bran represents Costa Rica and has earned three call-ups, to-date, and has been capped five times - notably playing significant time in both legs of the Quarterfinals of the Concacaf Nations League Finals in November 2023. He additionally made appearances in international friendlies against Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in September of 2023, along with a substitute appearance against El Salvador in 2021.
