
LA Galaxy Kick off 2024 Preseason Camp

LOS ANGELES - The LA Galaxy began preparations for the 2024 MLS Regular Season when the club held it first training season today, Tuesday, Jan. 16. Additionally, the club today announced its 2024 preseason roster.
The first official LA Galaxy training session of the 2024 campaign will take place at Dignity Health Sports Park today, Tuesday, Jan. 16 at approximately 10:00 a.m. PT. The club will then play host to St. Louis CITY SC on Saturday, Feb. 3 (1:00 p.m. PT) in a preseason match open to the public at Dignity Health Sports Park.
The Galaxy will hold the first in-person media availability of 2024 following the conclusion of training on Thursday, Jan. 18. Training on Jan. 18 begins at approximately 10:00 a.m. PT, with the first 15 minutes of the training session open to media for b-roll and photos. Following the conclusion of the training session, LA Galaxy General Manager Will Kuntz, Head Coach Greg Vanney and select players will be available to media at Dignity Health Sports Park's Champions Lounge after training. Media interested in attending the training session and media availability on Thursday, Jan. 18 must RSVP by emailing Kevin Acevedo, kacevedo@lagalaxy.com.
Following their first preseason match against St. Louis, the Galaxy will head out to the desert for the 2024 Coachella Valley Invitational (CVI) from Feb. 4-17 at Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif. LA squares off against Charlotte FC on Wednesday, Feb. 7 (11:00 a.m. PT), faces Austin FC on Sunday, Feb. 11 (10:00 a.m. PT), takes on New York City FC on Wednesday, Feb. 14 (12:00 p.m. PT) and will close out its time at Empire Polo Club against the New York Red Bulls on Saturday, Feb. 17 (10:00 a.m. PT).
The 2024 Coachella Valley Invitational will take place from Feb. 4-17 and marks the largest MLS preseason event in the league's history. Featuring the full rosters of players, coaches and management from each team, CVI will provide club management with an opportunity to prepare for the 2024 MLS and USL Championship seasons in optimum weather at world class facilities. It also will give fans unprecedented access to watch some of the league's most decorated and popular teams in an intimate and informal setting.
The LA Galaxy Foundation Golf Tournament will also return to the Coachella Valley on Friday, Feb. 9 at Desert Willow Golf Resort. For more information or to register, please visit www.lagalaxy.com/golf.
Media planning to cover all LA Galaxy MLS Regular Season home games in 2024 can apply online for a 2024 season media credential at www.lagalaxy.com/seasoncredentials. All credential applications must be accompanied by a photo headshot and received by 3:00 p.m. PT on Monday, Feb. 5. No season credential applications will be accepted after the deadline.
Media hoping to cover the 2024 MLS Regular Season opening match between the LA Galaxy and Inter Miami CF on Sunday, Feb. 25 at Dignity Health Sports Park must submit a single-game credential request via www.lagalaxy.com/credentials by Monday, Feb. 5 at 3:00 p.m. PT. 2024 LA Galaxy season credentials will not be valid for this match.
