
Minnesota Lynx Waive Jennifer O'Neill

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has waived guard Jennifer O'Neill.
O'Neill averaged 2.4 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 12 games for the Lynx this season. Prior to signing with Minnesota, O'Neill graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2015 where she averaged 14.4 points, 2.1 assists and 3.4 rebounds in 33 games as a senior. As a redshirt junior, O'Neill led Kentucky in scoring with 12.6 points per game and was named to the All-SEC Second Team by the league's coaches. O'Neill was also named an AP All-SEC honorable mention in the same season.
Boost Mobile WNBA All-Star 2015, featuring the Eastern Conference All-Stars against the Western Conference All-Stars, including Minnesota's Maya Moore at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., will be nationally televised by ABC on Saturday, July 25, at 3:30 p.m. ET.
