Minnesota Lynx Waive Christina Foggie

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has waived guard Christina Foggie. The Lynx roster now stands at 13 players.

Foggie, a second-round pick (24th overall) by the Lynx in the 2014 WNBA Draft, appeared in all three preseason games with the Lynx, averaging 4.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game

The 2013 WNBA Champion Lynx will tip off the 2014 season on the road at Washington on Friday, May 16 at 7 p.m. The 2014 home opener will be on Sunday, May 18 vs. Connecticut at 4 p.m., which will feature a historic ring ceremony and championship banner for the 2013 WNBA Champions.
