
Minnesota Lynx Guard Chandi Jones Undergoes Successful Knee Surgery

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Lynx today announced that guard Chandi Jones underwent successful knee surgery this morning for a torn meniscus in her left knee. Team physician Dr. Joel Boyd performed the surgery. An initial timeline of three-to-four weeks has been set for her return.
Jones, who was acquired by the Lynx in a trade on July 30, 2005, averaged 8.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 28.1 minutes per game in 10 games with the Lynx following the trade. In 62 career WNBA games with the Lynx (2005) and Detroit Shock (2004, 2005), the Houston, Texas, native has averaged 5.0 points, 1.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 16.2 minutes per game.
