"The Twin Cities community has always supported our organization and this is one way we can assist local organizations in fulfilling their missions."
During the 2015 WNBA season, the Minnesota Lynx will give out $36,000 spread between eight separate grants to organizations which focus on a specific area of charity. Four of the eight grants, totaling $20,000, will be given from the Minnesota Lynx Foundation to fund breast cancer research and support programs throughout the state of Minnesota. The remaining four grants ($16,000) will be donated from the Minnesota Lynx FastBreak Foundation to support hands-on programs which positively impact Minnesota youth.
