MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - Minnesota Lynx Head Coach and President of Basketball Operations Cheryl Reeve today announced the team has set its roster ahead of the 2024 season.
The Opening Night roster returns five players from 2023: First Team All-WNBA selection Napheesa Collier, Kayla McBride, Bridget Carleton and All-Rookie Team selections Diamond Miller and Dorka Juhász, the latter of whom will begin the season on the Suspended List while completing her season in Italy.
The 2024 roster features eight new faces, highlighted by free agent signees Courtney Williams and Alanna Smith. Minnesota also acquired Natisha Hiedeman and Sika Koné in offseason trades and Cecilia Zandalasini returns to the Lynx for the first time since 2018. Rookie Alissa Pili, the 2022-23 Pac-12 Player of the Year, was Minnesota's 1st-round selection in the 2024 Draft while Olivia Époupa and Taylor Soule complete the roster.
Minnesota tips off its 26th WNBA season, presented by Mayo Clinic, at Seattle on Tuesday, May 14, at 9:00 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast on Bally Sports North Extra and will stream on the iHeartRadio App and the Lynx App. The Lynx return to Target Center for their home opener on Friday, May 17, at 8:30 p.m. CT in a rematch with the Storm.
