Minnesota Lynx News Release
MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - Minnesota Lynx today announced that that they have acquired Sacramento's second-round selection (23rd overall) in the 2007 WNBA Draft in exchange for forward Adrian Williams.
"This trade allows us to pursue any free agent and trade opportunities that will help strengthen our roster," Lynx Chief Operating Officer Roger Griffith said. "We are confident in our depth at the four spot and needed to create the roster flexibility to address our other needs. Adrian is a great professional, we were glad to have her in our organization for the year and wish her well."
