Lynx Notes

After tonight's win, the Lynx' "magic number" for clinching a ninth consecutive trip to the WNBA Playoffs dropped to three. Napheesa Collier notched her 10th consecutive double-digit scoring effort after dropping 19 points on 6-of-11 shooting, including going a perfect 7-of-7 from the charity stripe. In those last 10 games, she is averaging 14.8 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 2.7 apg and 2.0 spg. She matched her season-high in steals with four on the night. Collier has now snagged four steals in five contests this season. Tonight marked her second-straight game with four steals.

Per @EliasSports, Collier is the fourth Lynx rookie to score in double figures in at least 10 consecutive games:

24 -- Seimone Augustus, June 18-Aug. 13, 2006 (to end season)

21 -- Candice Wiggins, May 29-July 22, 2008

10 -- Betty Lennox, June 18-July 9, 2000

10 -- Napheesa Collier, July 24-Aug. 22, 2019 (current)

Damiris Dantas set a career high in assists with eight, surpassing her previous mark of six set on June 16 vs. Las Vegas. She also contributed 17 points after connecting on 3-of-5 from deep. Tonight marks her seventh outing of the season knocking down 3+ triples.

Per @WBBTimeline, Dantas is the third post player in Lynx history to be credited with 8+ assists while committing 0 TOs, joining Janel McCarville (June 17, 2014 at Los Angeles) and Erlana Larkins (July 18, 2018 vs. Indiana). She's the 11th Minnesota player overall to accomplish that feat.

Sylvia Fowles tallied 12 points, including making four free throws. Her fourth free throw of the night notched the 500th of her Lynx career. She recorded three blocks, her third time this season with three or more in the category.

Danielle Robinson put up 14 points, her 17th double-digit effort of the season. She gathered seven boards marking her second-best showing in the category this season. Robinson tallied three steals, good for her fifth game with 3+.

Rookie forward Bridget Carleton checked into the game with 1:50 left in the fourth quarter, becoming the 16th different player to appear in a game for Minnesota this season and the 11th to make her Lynx debut in 2019. Both totals are tie the franchise history; 16 different players saw action in both 2005 and 2015 while the only season featuring more Lynx debuts was the inaugural 1999 campaign (11).

Minnesota outscored Dallas 46-26 in points in the paint. Minnesota's season high in the category stands at 60 vs. Indiana on June 29.

Since 2011, Minnesota is 78-6 when finishing the outing with a 10+ rebound advantage. The Lynx outrebounded Dallas 35-25.

Wings Notes

Arike Ogunbowale posted 22 points on 6-of-14 shooting, her fifth straight 20+ point outing of the season.
