Lynx Notes

Diamond Miller led the way for the Lynx, ending the night with a career-high-tying 25 points on 7-of-16 from the field, including 4-of-7 from deep. Miller's four three-pointers tie her season-high, the most recent time occurring in the last game vs. the New York Liberty. No other WNBA rookie this season has multiple games with four made threes.

Miller becomes only the second first-year Lynx player to connect on 4+ three-pointers in consecutive games, joining Tonya Edwards (1999) in this feat.

Tonight marked Miller's second 25+ point game of the season, becoming the first Lynx rookie to have multiple 25+ point games since Maya Moore had two in 2011.

Miller added two steals against Washington, her seventh multi-steal game of the season. She is now only the third Lynx rookie and first since Seimone Augustus in 2006 to have multiple 25+ point/ 2+ steal games (July 5 at Phoenix).

- With Miller's first steal of the night at the 7:21 in the second quarter, she has officially grabbed 25 career steals. She becomes the eighth Lynx rookie to amass 300+ points/100+ rebounds/25+ steals in their rookie campaign.

Napheesa Collier finished strong tonight, finishing with 17 points on 7-of-16 shooting, a game-high 10 rebounds, four assists, a game-high four steals. Tonight marks the second game time in Collier's career with 15+ points/10+ rebounds/4+ steals, with the last time occurring on July 26, 2023 in the previous game against the Mystics. She joins Sylvia Fowles (2x; MR: 2021) and Nicky Anosike (2009) as the only Lynx players to have multiple such games in a single season.

Collier had a strong defensive first half and grabbed three steals, marking the fifth time this season she's grabbed 3+ steals in a half and the 12th time in her career. She surpasses her season-total of such games with the second-most taking place in 2019 when she did so four times.

Mystics Notes

The Mystics were led by Brittney Sykes who finished 6-of-11 from the field for 21 points and 6-of-6 from the line for 21 points. She added eight rebounds, three steals and one block in 32:39 minutes.

Next Game

The Lynx will head back to the Target Center for their last two homes games of the season against the Atlanta Dream and the Phoenix Mercury. The first will take place on Friday against the Dream. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. CT and will be broadcast nationally on ION.
