Jade Miller's team leading 25th goal and league leading 10th game winner with less than 40 seconds remaining in the 3rd period propelled the Bruins over the Brookings Blizzard, 4-3 on Saturday night at Larson Ice Center.

Justin Misiak scored the lone goal of the 1st period, while Zach Kennedy notched a goal in his 2nd game in a row to put Austin up 2-1 in the 2nd. Brookings scored twice late in the 2nd to take a 3-2 lead into the 3rd.

Travis Kothenbeutel's powerplay goal at 5:56 of the 3rd tied the score at 3 and set the stage for Miller's heroics. At 19:24, Miller skated in on the left wing and beat Blizzard goaltender Jacob Gwillim with a wrist shot. Kris Carlson made 30 saves in the win as each team put 33 shots on goal.

Austin hosts first place Bismarck on Friday and Saturday night at Riverside Arena, a pair of 7:05 pm faceoffs.
