
Miller joins Havoc, Monkman suspended

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Huntsville Havoc head coach, John Gibson, announced today that forward Craig Miller had joined the team and will be in uniform Thursday night in Columbus.
Miller was picked up by the Havoc in the draft held after the Florida Seals ceased operations. He had played in 10 games for the Seals and scored five goals and had eight assists. He has played in 178 career games over the past four seasons and scored 83 goals and recorded 90 assists. He also played in 74 games at St. Thomas University from 1999-2003 and scored 14 goals and recorded 14 assists.
Gibson also announced that Bill Monkman has been placed on team suspension for violating team rules.
Monkman was leading the Havoc in goals scored with 24 and was seventh overall in points with 35. He is in his second season in Huntsville and fourth overall.
The Havoc hit the road for a three-game road trip this weekend starting Thursday night in Columbus before heading to Jacksonville on Friday night and Pee Dee on Saturday night.
