Feb. 22, 2007: Against the Fayetteville FireAntz. "School Night." We will have a few schools on hand. It's also "Youth Hockey Night", we will have the Pee Dee Youth Hockey representatives on hand to answer any questions you may have. Game Time is 7:10PM.
Feb. 24, 2007: Against the Huntsville Havoc. "Turn Back the Clock Night". Wear your 50s, 60s,70s, 80s outfits. We also have an awesome special ticket rate, 2 tickets for $5.00! Fans may purchase tickets through the Cyclones' Front Office by Friday, February 23. Be sure to bring out your employees, church group, friends, and family. Let's "Pack The House!" Game Time is 7:10PM at the Florence Civic Center.
Feb. 25, 2007: Against the Jacksonville Barracudas. "Humane Society Day". Come out and show your support for a great cause and help cheer on your Pee Dee Cyclones as they look to gain some ground on the Barracudas in the race to the playoffs! Game time is set for 4:10PM.
About Last Week ----
The Cyclones went 2-0-1 last week, winning Thursday in OT against the Fayetteville FireAntz. Pee Dee shutout the Jacksonville Barracudas Friday night 5-0 as Leni Di Costanzo gained his first professional shutout. The Clones' failed to sweep the weekend as they lost in OT in Fayetteville on Saturday Night but gained that all important point.
Player on Fire
Newcomer Leni Di Costanzo is on a storybook start to his career. The 5'10 goaltender is 2-0-2 with a 2.05 GAA and a .938% save percentage, something the Cyclones hasn't seen all season. Di Costanzo also registered his first shutout Friday night against the Jacksonville Barracudas, which awarded him the title of "Sher-Wood Player of the Week" for the past week. Congratulations, Leni!
Daryl Moore continues his hot-streak. In his last 5 games he has 3 goals and 3 assists and is a plus 4. Moore has scored 22 goals so far this season.
Brian Boike had surgery on his upper body injury is in rehabilitation back home in Massachusetts.
Eric Frank sat out the last couple of weeks with an injury but will return to the line-up soon.
