Twin City Defeats Fayetteville, 6-5

March 5, 2009 - Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) - Twin City Cyclones News Release

Twin City started off the week's games with a match up against the Fayetteville FireAntz Thursday night. Continuing the fight for the playoff spots, the teams kept the game close. Thanks to a couple of late shorthanded goals, the Cyclones were able to overcome the FireAntz, 6-5.

Scoring for the Cyclones: Ben Manny, Michael Richard (3 goals), and Daryl Moore (2 shorthanded goals).

The Cyclones will take to the ice again tomorrow night as the Richmond Renegades come to Winston-Salem. It's Youth Sports Night, so all youth sports groups of 15 or more can take advantage of $5 tickets in the upper-level! Game time is set for 7:30PM.
