The crowd enjoyed a beautiful summer day that was perfect for baseball. The Milkmen were joined by Field of Dreams actor Dwier Brown who played John Kinsella.
This was the second game for the Milwaukee newcomer, Riley Pittman, who said "It's a great experience to be away from home and being able to play in a new stadium."
The Milkmen, had 4 hits, three of them doubles (one each for Garrett Copeland, Manny Boscan, and Nolan Earley).
Milwaukee starter, T.J. House pitched 6 innings, allowing 4 runs (all earned), with 2 walks and 5 strikeouts. This drops his record to 7-3 with 3.74 ERA.
The Milkmen (22-32) take the road for their next three series against the Texas Airhogs (July 16-18), the Cleburne Railroaders (July 19-21), and the Chicago Dogs (July 24-26).
The guys return to Routine Field for their next home series against the Gary ShoreSouth RailCats, on Saturday July 27 with a 6:05 pm first pitch.
