KEARNEY - The Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League will honor past and present members of the military and their families on Saturday, Nov. 11 when the team hosts the Omaha Lancers at the FirsTier Event Center. The Storm is offering a "2 for $9.99" ticket package for all military personnel with proper identification to this game that begins at 7:05 p.m. Call 308-338-8011 to order tickets.

With Saturday, Nov. 11 being celebrated as Veteran's Day across our country, the Storm will wear red, white and blue jerseys to honor those who serve. The Storm organization, along with its sponsors Taco John's, the Spaghetti Shop and Power 99, will then raffle these jerseys off at each of the remaining 26 home games throughout the 2006-07 season. The proceeds will be given to the Tri-City Storm Foundation that supports local organizations, charities and citizens throughout the Tri-City area.

Additionally numerous military activities will take place throughout the evening including the Nebraska Admirals Association "Operation Ornament" project. Fans will be asked to decorate a Christmas tree ornament in support of the 330 crewmembers on the USS Nebraska and members of the Nebraska National Guard currently activated.

In addition Power 99 will have a live remote from the FirsTier Event Center beginning at 5:30 p.m. Fans can stop by the Oldies Radio/Power 99 Fabulous Prize Machine for their chance to win a nine-day trip for two to Paris.
