
Military Appreciation Night is Sunday

HOUSTON, Texas â The Houston Aeros will honor active and retired members of the military prior to Sunday's game against the Utah Grizzlies at 5:05 p.m. Several activities are planned.
Prior to the game, the Aeros will salute Kenny Adams, an Army soldier who was blinded in Iraq. The Jr. ROTC will handle color guard duties. During an intermission, more than 30 military recruits will be sworn in.
Several local companies are teaming up with the Aeros to purchase tickets for members of the military, including a group of Marines just back from Iraq. The tickets are being donated to active duty personnel, the families of military serving in war zones, families who have lost loved ones and dozens of newly enlisted military.
If you would like do donate as few as 10 tickets for as little as $80 to be donated to the military for Sunday's game, please call the Aeros office at 713.974.PUCK. Those buying 10 or more tickets in the corners ($200) or at center ice ($280) will receive an equal number of tickets for their own use this Friday against Chicago.
