
Aeros reassign Heid to Pensacola

HOUSTON, Texas â The Houston Aeros have reassigned defenseman Chris Heid to the ECHL's Pensacola Ice Pilots, the teams announced Wednesday.
Heid notched five assists in 19 games with the Aeros after missing most of the first half of the season due to injury. With ECHL Louisiana, Heid totaled eight points (2-6=8) in 17 games.
The Aeros play their final two regular season home games this weekend. Friday, the first 3,000 fans will receive a Mike Smith Bobblehead.
