Omaha Lancers News Release
RALSTON, NE - In a move designed to maximize the team's strategic marketing potential, longtime Omaha sports marketing stalwart and MTT Management founder Mike West has officially joined the Omaha Lancers as Senior Advisor, the team announced Friday.
"Mike has a long track record of success in marketing in Omaha and we're thrilled to have him on board with the Lancers," said Lancers Owner, President and Managing Partner Ben Robert on Friday. "Mike brings a strategic element to the table that we believe will help us reach our full potential and ensure that Ralston Arena is sold out each and every game night."
The founder of MTT Management, a consulting firm that works with sports organizations and community events to expand brands and build support, West currently serves as the full-time Director of Business Development for Bellino Enterprises in Papillion, Nebraska and is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Omaha with a Master's Degree in Sports Management from Wayne State College.
"I am honored and excited to be a part of this great franchise," said West Friday. "With the combination of a great staff, a great venue and a passionate fan base, I believe the sky is the limit for this organization. My goal is to re-capture the magic and energy of the past and bring that atmosphere to Ralston Arena to re-establish the longest sellout streak in USHL history."

Under his guidance, the Cox Classic grew into one of Omaha's premier annual events and one of the top stops on the PGA-sanctioned Web.com Tour. Following his time with the Cox Classic, Mike spent 11 years as the Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing at Creighton University. Under Mike's guidance, Creighton's seven major sports enjoyed unprecedented fan growth and by 2011, Creighton stood as the only Division 1 University to rank in the nation's top ten in attendance in three different sports.
