Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - The Prince Albert Raiders have released 18 year-old left winger Mike Small from their training camp roster, pending assignment.
Small appeared in 49 regular season games with the Raiders in the 2007-08 season collecting 3 goals and 2 assists along with 8 penalty minutes. He appeared in three pre-season games with one goal.
The move reduces the Raiders training camp roster to 28: 3 goaltenders, 9 defencemen and 16 forwards as they prepare to conclude the WHL exhibition campaign this weekend entertaining the Swift Current Broncos Friday at 7:30 PM at the Art Hauser Centre and in Swift Current Saturday.
