Regina Pats News Release
Regina, Saskatchewan - 20 year old forwards Josh Elder and Ryan DePape have cleared Western Hockey League waivers, and have been outright released from the Regina Pats. DePape was released from the club two weeks ago, while Elder was granted his release this past weekend. That leaves the Pats with 3 overage players, Victor Bartley, Michael MacAngus and Scott Doucet.
There are currently 28 players (15 forwards, 9 defencemen and 4 goaltenders) on the roster that will face the Saskatoon Blades this weekend. Friday night the two will meet at 7pm at the Brandt Centre. 24 hours later, the two will do it again at 7:05 at the Credit Union Centre.
