
WHL Scholarship Program benefits alumni at the University of Calgary

Calgary, AB -- The University of Calgary Dinos Men's hockey team hosted their 16th Annual Dinos Hockey Golf Classic on Tuesday, September 9th at the Springbank Links golf course just outside of Calgary. WHL Web TV caught up with WHL graduates Brock Nixon and Jevon Desautels to get their thoughts on the WHL Scholarship program and how it is helping them achieve their academic goals.
Nixon, who spent five years in the Western Hockey League with the Kamloops Blazers and Calgary Hitmen, is entering his first year in the Social Sciences program at the University of Calgary while Desautels, who played out his five year WHL career with the Spokane Chiefs, is entering his fourth season with the Dinos and second of the Engineering program.
