Michael Bradley and Jermain Defoe Among List of Best Selling adidas MLS Jerseys

Major League Soccer and adidas announced today that Toronto FC midfielder Michael Bradley and forward Jermain Defoe are both in the top ten among Major League Soccer's list of most popular jerseys. The rankings are based on overall retail sales on MLSgear.com and MLSGearCanada.ca since the beginning of the 2014 MLS season.
Bradley, 26, has appeared in eight matches, registering two goals in all competitions this season. He was a nominee for MLS Player of the Month honors for the month of March. Bradley was also named to the United States final 23-man roster for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Squad on May 22.
Defoe, 31, has appeared in eight matches in all competitions this season, registering seven goals and two assists. He was also named MLS Player of the Week by the North American Soccer Reporters (NASR) for Week 2.
adidas has been a partner of MLS since the league's inception in 1996. In 2004, adidas and MLS announced an exclusive partnership agreement that named adidas the official athletic sponsor and product supplier, outfitting all league teams and supplying the league's official match ball.
